In the year 1955 the CIA had asked for Wasson’s cooperation having become interested in the magic mushrooms and its possible military applications. Wasson did not want to help the CIA. The CIA then successfully planted one of their operatives James Moore on the next expedition that Wasson had organized to go to Mexico. It was already the year 1979 when Wasson learned that Moore was a CIA operative.
