Salvia Divinorum Video Clip KUJH-TV News: Kansas bans salvia

This week Kathleen Sebelius signed a bill into law banning the use and possession of the drug salvia divinorum. The ban comes two years after a death linked to the drug. For more on this story, visit http://tv.ku.edu.

The Salvia Divinorum plant is prohibited in some states in the Unite States of America due to the fact that according to their federal analog act the substance that has Salvia is different from their federally listed substances and must be chemically altered so as to be qualified on their record. Last June 1 2002 Salvia Divinorum was excluded in Australia making this plant prohibited to be bought sold and even produced.
