Salvia can heave back every year because when it grows to about two meters tall the stem will bow plus it will root itself at the same time as it touches the moist soil. The Salvia Divinorum plant can disseminate in the process of cutting its stem beneath the nodes where the leaves grow to at least 10cm especially once placed in sterilized water.
